Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows in Government Service

  • 4-day spring break bootcamp program;
  • Exposure to a range of public service fields, both within government and in adjacent sectors (e.g. nonprofits, advocacy, or research), at the local and state level in California;
  • Professional development workshops;
  • Cohort-based community.

Democracy Camp in Berkeley

  • 8-day summer bootcamp program;
  • Travel experience designed for applicants who have not previously visited Washington, DC;
  • Exposure to public service at the national level, with a specific focus on federal government;
